How to Use an Automotive Wheel Dolly Safely and Correctly?
1. Conduct a pre-use inspection.
Before use, a thorough inspection of the equipment is required. Ensure the rollers rotate freely without jamming, the axles are securely connected to the brackets, and there is no obvious deformation or damage to the surface. Also check the load-bearing capacity to ensure it matches the vehicle's weight, avoiding equipment malfunction or safety hazards due to overloading. Clean the work area, remove obstacles, and ensure the ground is level and dry to provide a safe environment for subsequent operations.
2. Standardize the placement of equipment.
First, bring the vehicle to a complete stop and engage the handbrake. If the vehicle is on a slope, additional anti-slip measures are necessary. Slowly lift the vehicle to the position corresponding to the wheel, raising it just high enough to easily insert the wheel bracket, avoiding excessive lifting which increases operational risks. 4. Move the vehicle smoothly.

5. Store after completing the operation.
After moving the vehicle to the target location, re-engage the handbrake and slowly lift the vehicle with a jack to remove the wheel bracket. Clean the bracket surface of dust, oil, and other debris, and check the equipment for damage. If any malfunctions are found, repair them promptly. Store the equipment in a dry, well-ventilated storage area, avoiding direct sunlight or humid environments to extend its lifespan.
