When using screw jacks, in addition to observing the relevant precautions for rack jacks, the following safety precautions should also be observed:
(1) Before lifting heavy objects, pay attention to the position of the jack and keep it vertical to prevent the screw from skewed bending and accidents caused by it.
(2) When lifting the weight, the handle should be shaken with even force to avoid accidents and damage to the jack caused by up and down impact.
(3) During use, care should be taken not to exceed the maximum allowable jacking capacity to prevent accidents caused by overload.
(4) When in use, the jacking height should not exceed the marking line on the sleeve or piston. For jacks without a marking line, the jacking height must not exceed 3/4 of the total height of the screw thread or the oil plug, so as not to make the sleeve simple. Or the piston tops off, which damages the jack and causes an accident.
(5) Before loosening the jack to make the heavy object fall, you must check in advance whether the heavy object has been firmly supported, and then lower it slowly to ensure safety.
(6) During use and storage, grease must be used to prevent excessive wear and reduce service life.
