How to Protect Your Trailer Components from Damage?

1. Strictly control the quality of components upon entry.
Choose high-quality components that meet industry standards, prioritizing reputable brands with complete certifications, and avoid using inferior or non-standard parts. During procurement, verify the core indicators of components, such as material strength and manufacturing precision, to ensure that critical components like load-bearing and braking systems have sufficient safety redundancy. For easily worn components, confirm that their wear resistance and anti-aging properties meet standards to eliminate safety hazards caused by component quality issues from the outset.

2. Strengthen regular testing and screening.
Establish a routine inspection mechanism, focusing on core components such as the braking system, traction connection, suspension, and travel mechanism. Pay attention to whether there are leaks or abnormal wear in the braking components, whether the traction connection is secure, whether the suspension system is deformed or loose, and whether the travel mechanism operates smoothly. If any abnormalities such as unusual noises, vibrations, or decreased functionality are found, stop the machine immediately for inspection to avoid operating with faults.

3. Standardize daily usage operations
Use the vehicle strictly within its rated load capacity to avoid overloading, which could lead to excessive wear and tear on components or structural deformation. Operate smoothly during driving, minimizing sudden acceleration, braking, and severe bumps to reduce impact load on components. Adjust driving speed according to road conditions; slow down in complex road conditions to reduce damage to suspension, wheels, and other components. Park on a level surface to avoid uneven stress on components over time.
4. Perform precise maintenance and upkeep.
Develop maintenance plans tailored to the characteristics of different components, and regularly add appropriate lubricants to components requiring lubrication to reduce wear. Promptly clean dust, debris, and corrosive substances from component surfaces and perform anti-corrosion and anti-rust treatments. Based on component wear patterns, proactively replace aging or excessively worn components, without delaying maintenance cycles. Simultaneously, maintain thorough maintenance records to understand component usage status and optimize subsequent maintenance strategies.
